I was enjoying this fine, even pretty excited because the romantic male lead is half Roma. Given the lack of nonwhite characters in romance novels, having a biracial hero is pretty awesome. Once the characters began to actually get to know one another, though, he reeked heavily of Magical Nonwhite Person Syndrome. He used "ancient gypsy potions" on ill characters, acted uncontrolled and jealous due to his "hot Roma blood," and other super fun stereotypes that left me feeling vaguely ill.
